Name Meaning: From the God Donaws and the Gothic word dulþs (“feast, celebration”).
Date: 2 days beginning on the full moon of Sunnamenoþs.
Deities Honored: Donaws, Ahwa.
Activities: Reidarjos honor the God Donaws with offerings; His sister, Ahwa, can also receive offerings at this time. Celebrations occur at rivers or other bodies of water if possible. The day after the festival is also an auspicious time to begin or conclude any legal matters.
Offerings: Fish or other seafood.
Associated myth: Alaric II and Clovis make a peace treaty at the Loire River.
