Information

Name Meaning: From the Gothic words spill (“story, tale”) + the adjectival suffix -ahs (“-y, -ic”) + dags (“day”). Spillahaidagos means “Mythic Days.”
Deities Honored: Gapt, the ancestors.
Activities: Reidarjos offerings to a mythic or historic ancestor on the first eight nights: Gapt, Amal, Cniva, Ermanaric, Fritigern, Alaric I, Euric, and Theodoric the Great. On the ninth and final night, Reidarjos give offerings to their personal ancestors. On each night, they also sing the Saggws Airizane.

Associated myth: Each of the Gods produces a dynasty of humans, some of whom become mythic ancestors of Sidjus Reidarje Sauilis. The most notable of these is Amal of the line of Gapt, who is venerated by Reidarjos as the sacral king.
